Sharing some of the lovely messages we have received from people living Dementia, their carers & friends and also people and organisations we have worked with over the years.
“Following a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s I was prescribed specific drugs to treat dementia and ongoing antidepressants, a cocktail of medication that really only resulted in increased confusion and brain fog. Referral to DSSL and to Square Hole Club proved to be a lifeline by way of 1:1 non judgmental non clinical meetings with professional dementia support workers.“

“Thank you to all the staff and volunteers, making this day packed with so much fun and enjoyment. We are so lucky to have you all. I will treasure this day with so many more that have been made possible by DSSL.“
Annette Markham (Square Hole Club member) after a day at Scalextric in Spalding
“Fantastic news, well deserved – what a huge asset you are for your community. Well done.“
Susan Fortune: Re: Lottery Award
“I think all the staff and volunteers do a wonderful job and I for one would be lost without them“

“Excellent. The main thing is they are informative, whilst feeling inclusive. We all belong to this wonderful “club” and social media affords access to events one cannot attend in person.“
Carer re social media
“I’ve been fortunate to get to know Kate and the wonderful team behind this charity well in recent years. Their work to raise awareness of dementia, provide support to those affected and their families, and to reduce the stigma often felt following a diagnosis, is second to none.“
Gareth Davis, MP
“I would like to thank you all for your support. It is reassuring to have folk who are ‘there for us’.“
