Lego at Square Hole Club

We had a fabulous day of fun, friendship, laughter and Lego at Square Hole Club on 28th May!

Our Lego journey started at Square Hole Club and many members (and their families) have enjoyed building amazing things with Lego over the years. It was one of the challenges many of us got involved with when we are in lockdown in 2020.

We are looking forward to Lego Mania in Bourne on Sunday, 7th June so we thought we would have a Lego related day.

We all teamed together to create the perfect LEGO themed photo props. We spent the morning creating Lego themed frames which will be available for visitors to take fun photos when they visit us at Lego Mania.

This involved lots of cardboard, Lego shaped cutouts, Glue sticks and paint. Everyone, including our volunteers, got involved and three fabulous frames were made. .

Then it was time for Fish and Chips. Always popular at Square Hole Club!

After our delicious lunch and cold drinks Dee told us all about Eid celebrations and we enjoyed Baklava. Then Danie organised the football world cup sweepstakes. Good Luck everyone!

After we had made sure our artwork was dry we had a relaxed Lego session.

It got a bit competitive… and everyone enjoyed themselves. What a brilliant day!

A big shout out to our lovely volunteers for helping us make this day so special. Also, a big thank you to all of our wonderful DSSL members for coming along to group this month.

Hope to see you all at LEGO mania on Sunday.
