Summer 2019 Newsletter

Members of the Art for All group have been busy creating masterpieces for their new range of cards. They will be for sale at the upcoming coffee mornings, activities and social events.

Lots has been happening in the last couple of months and the Social Committee is making sure there are lots more events to look forward to:

  • Our monthly support group/coffee mornings take place in Stamford, Market Deeping and Bourne and are open to everyone.

  • The third annual Driving Away Dementia Car Rally in Aslackby on Sunday 16th June.

  • On Saturday 29th June several members and trustees will be going to the Deepings Sports and Social Club’s Summer Ball. If you would like to join us there are still some tickets left. Please ring the office as soon as possible.

  • Frances and Len Turner’s daughter has organised a concert at Bourne Methodist Church on Saturday 13th July. The Low Fell Singers from Gateshead will perform at 7 o’clock and tickets are £5 each.

  • We have been invited to Grimsthorpe Castle again for the Doris Biggs Memorial Tea on Wednesday 17th July.

  • Following the success of last year’s garden party, the social committee has arranged this year’s get together, once again, at Edenham Village Hall, Church Lane, Edenham, Bourne, PE10 0LS, on Friday 26th July.
