Latest Information on Activities and Groups
Here at Dementia Support South Lincs we are beginning to open up our activities and groups while at the same time following government guidance.
We have heard from many of our members that they are anxious about re-entering the world, having shielded on and off for the last eighteen months. So, we are doing our best to help them feel safe and supported and as risk free as possible as we all move forward.
We started back at Tai Chi in Bourne several weeks ago now, our monthly Bourne coffee morning is up and running again and we have plans to restart Art for All at the end of September.
Our friends at Danish Invader in Stamford have invited us back, but no singing allowed yet, and we plan to restart our Stamford coffee morning at Blackstones in October.
It is disappointing that so many things have had to be changed, postponed or cancelled altogether, but the general feeling is that taking things slowly is the best approach, so, if all goes to plan we hope to be able to offer all our groups and activities by early 2022.
During lockdown we have moved our office from upstairs to downstairs at Wake House in Bourne. We are still sharing the office with Carer Sitter Service and with them we plan to open an Information Hub. More on that new project soon.
Please ring us on 01778 426756 and speak to Danie, Sharon or Kate who will be able to give you details of times and venues as they are subject to change at the moment.
We look forward to hearing from you and being able to get together in person, very soon.
